Beautiful Large James Coleman Signed Artist Proof #1 of 25. Titled -Memories of Paradise- Professionally Framed in stunning Wood Frame under Glass and Signed by the artist James Coleman. Includes original Purchase Agreement ($3950) from Wyland Galleries Seaport Village, San Diego in 1994. Also includes 2 Polaroid photos of the artist, signed Aloha, James Coleman 94. This is a Large Heavy Artwork. BRING HELP TO LOAD AND PROPER SIZE. EHICLE FOR TRANSPORT. WE DO NOT ASSIST IN LOADING. James Coleman was born in Hollywood, California in 1949. His love for nature and the outdoors was instilled at an early age. His father was a teacher, so every summer was spent traveling. Coleman's career in the motion picture industry began in 1969, when he was hired by Walt Disney Productions. Although his first position was in the mail room, Coleman soon became one of Disney's top artistic talents. His big break came when he entered one of his paintings in the studio art show. Several of the Disney artists viewing his work saw his potential and realized he had an untapped ability and encouraged him to go into animation background painting.�In 1973, he became the lead painter and supervisor of the animation background department. His animation career, spanning 22 years, made him one of Walt Disney Productions' most important artists.
